Free includes the teleprompter, AI scripts, social scheduling and an audit. Starter adds one brand kit and unlimited captions.

One oddity in the yearly prices

Look at Starter: $12 a month is $144 over 12 months, but the yearly price is $149. AI Pro is $228 over 12 months against $229 yearly, and Max is $588 against $589. On the page, the yearly plans cost slightly more than 12 monthly payments, yet the page says yearly saves 33%.

I can't tell from the page how that 33% is counted. The likely answer is that the monthly figure shown is a per-month rate that already assumes a year's commitment, but that's a guess. Check the total on the checkout screen before you enter a card, and don't rely on the table above for the exact charge.

The App Store price can be different

BIGVU's App Store listing shows in-app prices that don't match the site. On 29 September 2026 the listing had a Starter monthly purchase at $24.99 and an AI Pro yearly purchase at $139.99, against $12 and $229 on the site. Prices vary by where you buy, so the site table can't tell you what your phone will charge.

The practical move is to compare the same plan at the same billing period in both places, once, and buy where it's cheaper.

Plans by kind of creator

Free is for testing the teleprompter. The watermark and 720p mean you can't post the result anywhere you care about. Starter is the first plan you'd publish from: 1080p, no watermark, one brand kit. It fits short videos, since the 9-minute cap still applies.

AI Pro is the plan for 4K, longer videos, AI eye contact and B-roll, and it's where BIGVU starts to look like a studio. Max at $49 adds an AI twin, a content planner and the Claude and ChatGPT integration, so it's aimed at people producing video at volume. If you only want to read a script and post the take, you don't need it.

That last point is worth holding onto. Most of what a solo creator pays for above Starter is editing and generation. The teleprompter is a small part of the bill. If the teleprompter and a clean cut are all you use, compare what you'd pay against a single-purpose tool before you pick a tier.

Where the limits bite for a video creator

The 9-minute cap on Free and Starter is the one that catches people. A long YouTube video or a recorded webinar doesn't fit, and moving to AI Pro is a jump from $12 to $19 a month.
